Alright, Here's my wip phase 2.... As of this point I am having to move on to Zbrush/Mudbox due to time constraints. However I will return at some point to add more clothing and accessories.

Lizardman, Finished Zbrush and Mid Texturing.
Well, after a long couple of weeks, it's come down to this.
Zbrushing this character allowed me to further define the muscle structure along with detailing the spines all over his body. Would have liked to push the larger scales on his body further, however I had to move onto the next stage.
My biggest regret with using Zbrush has to be the difficulty in transfering the same level of detail onto a model in XSI. With this, I have the basic skin color, with bump and spec maps for the surface scales. At this stage, I still have a few areas of 'scaling' to finish and would like to make it so highlights will shine a different color based on camera/light positions. I also plan to model teeth and pose the face next chance I get.

Lizardman Hour 12-13
Alright, been a while, but here is the Lizardman model as it stands somewhere between 12 and 13 hours, took some extra time to make sure I had the flow of the muscles working in a way I liked.
Although this is a model I wouldnt mind returning to as some point, it's time to move on to the next stage in zbrush.
